Develop, manage, and execute strategic communications plans and initiatives, and ensure all are aligned with overall goals and objectives for the overall business. Work closely with the Director of Marketing, Product Managers, and other cross functional teams to develop strategies and tactics for programs and product launches across integrated communications channels such as tradeshows, social, digital, video, print, etc.
Roles and Responsibilities
Develop and manage strategic communication plans, in close partnership with the Director of Marketing, Sales and Product Management, that take into consideration both the goals of an individual initiative and business, as well as divisional/corporate objectives.
Manage the coordination of the development, design, and production of marketing materials while communicating with external vendors.
Manage and ensure consistency of the Memic brand for all content.
Develop in-depth communication plans to educate non-physician stakeholders, including patients, referring physicians and hospital administration, of the intended benefits of our technology.
Develop patient education and customer marketing programs as appropriate and needed.
Communicate proactively to manager, sales, and product managers, in order to manage expectations, timelines and logistics.
Identify, partner with, and manage appropriate resources (i.e., vendor relationships, other internal departments, etc.) to ensure that communication plans meet objectives.
Develop and maintain budgets while ensuring cost-saving measures; and accountable for implications on general business management.
Evaluate program impact and reassess objectives and outcomes, responsible for continuous improvement of the communication plan.
Keep abreast of industry standards and trends as related to responsibilities.
Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 3 years marketing experience in a new and transformative medical technology / medical device space. Combination of education and experience acceptable.
3+ years experience in developing customer and patient-facing communication materials.
3+ years marketing experience using data driven strategies to merge web, social, mobile, email marketing.
Demonstrated ability to conceive, develop and implement tactical marketing plans to include marketing plan development, sales materials, and clinical marketing materials.
Experience implementing multi-channel marketing communications plans, partnering with agencies to deliver and execute content and strategies.
Self-starter, leads and facilitates management of details needed to accomplish tasks, simultaneous management of several programs and initiatives.
Passionate about patient advocacy.
Composure and identify solutions in a high-pressure environment.
Ability to work flexible schedule including occasional nights and weekends.

Product Manager - General Surgery, Robotics

Primary function of the position
The Product Manager will be responsible for managing the entire product lifecycle of a new general surgery application for the Memic robotic system and associated instruments and accessories. This includes gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product roadmap, and working closely with clinical development engineering and new product development to deliver the product to the marketplace. The Product Manager will also identify and drive post-launch product improvements and provide sustaining support for product field issues. The role includes providing direct product-level support to the sales team and physicians to ensure successful adoption.
7+ years total marketing experience in surgical medical devices, with at least 3 years in general surgery.
Strong oral and written communication skills.

Demonstrated experience in developing presentation materials for sales force.
Proven ability to determine and communicate effective product positioning and key marketing strategies.
